Kill the Lantern, Raise the Ghost Pendant- Thistlefoot inspired Talisman
This pendant was made in dedication to the novel Thistlefoot by GennaRose Nethercott, a novel filled with a modern myth of Baba Yaga, survival, magic, and sibling camaraderie.
This pendant was lovingly and painstakingly carved from wax, set in a mold, and hand cast using sterling silver.
The front features a common motif throughout the book, a ghost suspended in a lantern. The backside of this pendant displays a carved image of Baba Yaga’s hut- an iconic cottage resting upon chicken legs.
